History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When Manfred reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She got into the Dyer business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital.
