He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Kyle learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Susannah was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She tends to her Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
