History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He struck the Cartwright job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and expand his business

She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Interpreter but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and wants to raise her children well

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
