History: He was born into a rich family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
