History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roland's homeland. Roland decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but she was a colossal failure. She became a Map Maker soon after.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
