History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Gardener, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She was born into a rich family. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now owns her own business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mason arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Elysande was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bricklayer.
