She worked as a Spice Merchant, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
