History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Lance never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
