History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Matilda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Matilda was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Elysande fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
