History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Kody learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and sabotage a competitor

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Unemployed father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dustin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
