History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Anselm was born with his mother's beautiful face. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
