When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. She wears a tattered pair of loose grey pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, marred by chocolates. Her hair is short and silver. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Avice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with her Bounty Hunter father left her crippled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and a rival would like her out of the picture
