Description: An older man who is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is long and white with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small pastel clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has worked as a Tanner like his father before him.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his right hand. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is a Farmer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Conrad was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Farmer. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Farmer for hire.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is greedy

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. Her hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is scarred and worn.
Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.
