She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Katherine took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sai and armor she uses now. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

History: She got into the Glassblower business at a young age. At a young age her mother died while driving off some brigands. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in sickle use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heather grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
