History: Adam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: This dark-skinned male prefers to wear blue clothing when he does not wear armor. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Aldous is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Aldous was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Aldous decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), and a wedding ring on his left hand. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a Laborer, his father struggled to pay the bills. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Diggory never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a shortbow on her belt. Her brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. A friendly and beautiful Human, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: Born to a Sailor, her father struggled to pay the bills. Avice liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has worked as a Marshal like her father before her.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
