Through the years after Simon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Simon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oriel grew up listening to her father's many stories. Oriel liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
