History: He was born into a rich family. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Thomas was born the youngest of three triplets. Thomas was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bricklayer. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
