Personality: Bertram hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Heward was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Heward decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. The war was a terrible time for her, and Beatrice does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When Beatrice reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
