His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He worked as a nervous Locksmith and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Adventurer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now mingles about in high society.
