Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in the west. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Frederick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
