Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelaide grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelaide. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Oriel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Gifted from a young age, Galiena studied abroad. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Barrister for the past few years.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. After months of barely getting by, Henry managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
