History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Maynild grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Maynild. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Alice was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
