Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She now owns her own business.

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mason who has hired him part-time. Robert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
