History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Elizabeth was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Elizabeth decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and yellow, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Raymond grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Raymond. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available she will default to her rapier. Her hair is white and curly. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and money/treasure
