History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Frederick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Beatrice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Beatrice was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
