History: Roger lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Locksmith. He has worked as a Locksmith like his father before him.
