Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.
