Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Balimaar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Doctor and was forced into it by her family; and retire the richest woman in the north

She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it
