Personality: Chad wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Chad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Masseuse.
