History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Cecily was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ahlyssa is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
