Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a yellow costume with the symbols of strength on his torso. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

Description: He very much looks the part of a Locksmith. He has no hair. His ears are large.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Locksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Locksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his old friends
