Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Alex was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. After a long history of fighting, Mary and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
