His mother taught him the rudiments of the Junk Dealer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Williamina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
