History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Reynard was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Servant. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Servant for hire.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Susannah hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Susannah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it.
