Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Adelaide was born with her mother's beautiful face. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has achieved small success as a Courier.
