Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Jacoba enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Jacoba was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dilettante born in the past three hundred years. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has achieved small success as a Dilettante.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
