Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
