She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Performer and occasionally as a mercenary.

She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Matilda never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
