History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He has achieved small success as a Shoemaker.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

History: Helen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now mingles about in high society.
