Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Patrick is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Clerebold is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Clerebold hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and many orcs want him driven away

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. The war was a terrible time for her, and Geva does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has never given up on her poetry dream.
