History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stylist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: She was born into a rich family. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Hadwisa has worked very hard to control her curse. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
