He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Gilbert wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
