Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jane embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Marshal. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Crown-heir for hire.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Conrad was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Crown-heir. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
