Personality: Conrad is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Dyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
