Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a longbow on his belt. His blonde hair is heavily combed to the left. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his hand crossbow with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Alex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her silver hair is cut short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is greedy; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

Description: He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered green stockings. His hair is cut close to his head. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shepherd. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and he wants revenge against goblins
