Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is harsh and unforgiving.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Katherine does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle
