She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and she won custody of their son. History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Joan has worked very hard to control her curse. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
