History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Cecily was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dustin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his religion dominates his actions
