Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the south. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Layabout soon after.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Peter abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. She has done her best to style her black hair to look like a famous performer. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Ida is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Ida lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by her family

Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He uses divination through singing.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
