Personality: Ella is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. She's also a talented Gardener, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and wishes to resurrect an old love
